The city’s name is associated with hot springs, which were known in the late 18th century. ”White smoke”- Belockurikha. Located in the beautiful foothills of the Altai in southern piedmont plains of the Ob. 250 m above the sea level.

In 2008, the Scientific and Production Association “Biola”, which has existed for over 20 years, developed and manufactured health facilities based on plants and minerals of the Altai. It has been made for tourists. This land is rightly called “The Blooming Valley”, it is cultivated with love and kindness.
