August is the time when Lotus blooms. It is the most luxurious flower. It is a true bliss to observe the Komarov’s lotus. Lotus leaves are smooth about 50 centimeters. Between the leaves there are amazing lotus buds. Born in tropics flower is pollinated by the tropical butterflies. It is amazing to see Amure water lily. It grows about 25- 30 years. ABOUT LOTUS LIFE

A.A. Grossgame wrote about Far East lotus in 1940. He named it Komarov’s lotus in honour of a great biologist V. L. Komarov who explored and described Far East floras.
